The clinical standard
Programming decisions, drawn from clinical experience and advanced strength and conditioning specialization
Built with the same attention to detail
Medical exercise prescription requires extensive awareness of the body's response to physical stress and the behaviors that drive consistent performance.
While Applied Physiologics - Performance Training is not medical care, we built it with the same respect for the physiology of exercise and the psychology of sticking with it.
Every recommendation has a reason. All assumptions are checked against the literature.
How we weigh scientific evidence
Three tiers, each with a different level of certainty
Exploration of new or narrow concepts. Treated with caution about how far they generalize.

Physiology, biomechanics, and anatomy. These well-established concepts serve as our primary sources.
The current best-supported evidence on a given question.
Why this matters
There are many ways to exercise meaningfully, and the sheer number of options can be overwhelming. The most effective program is usually the one that fits a person's actual circumstances rather the one with the most sensational claims.
We built this for people who want that fit to come from scientific rigor rather than guesswork: attention to the biological detail of why an exercise is included, and respect for the behavioral reality of how to do it consistently.
But we want to be direct about what this is not. This is not medical care, and no service here treats injury or diagnoses conditions. If an injury or condition is identified, that's a signal to see a qualified provider, not something are able to address in this program.
